and Emergency Services Department has released recruitment for 2215 vacant posts of Home Guard. Online application for this will start on 10th July. 10th/12th pass men and women of Chhattisgarh can apply for the post of Home Guard. Native candidates of the respective district of Chhattisgarh will have to apply by visiting the official website firenoc.cg.gov.in. The last date of application is 10th August.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit?

To get recruited for Nagar Sainik posts, candidates of General Category, OBC and SC category should be 10th pass. Whereas for ST category candidates the qualification is 8th pass. The eligibility for surrendering former Naxalites or Naxalite victims or their family members of general, OBC and SC category is 8th pass and for ST category candidates it is 5th pass. The age limit for this recruitment is 19 to 40 years. The age limit for surrendering former Naxalites or Naxalite victims or their family members is 45 years

Selection Process?

Selection list will be prepared on the basis of 100 marks of physical test, 100 marks of written test and bonus 20 marks i.e. total 220 marks. In physical test, men will have to pass 100 meter race, 800 meter race, long jump, high jump. All will be of 25–25 marks. Women will have to pass 800 meter race, long jump and high jump.
