Who can apply?
To apply for these vacancies, it is necessary that the candidate has done an engineering course in the relevant field. Final year students can also apply but the condition is that they will have to submit the certificate of passing the degree before the commencement of the course.

There are 350 posts for SSC Tech Men, 29 posts for SSC Tech Women and 2 posts for Widows of Defense Personnel. A total of 381 posts will be filled
Talking about age limit, it should be between 20 to 27 years. It can also be understood that candidates born between 2 October 1997 to 1 October 2004 can apply.
Will there be training for selected candidates?
The candidates who will be selected will be trained at Officers Training Academy, Chennai. This will be according to their rank in merit and selection in engineering stream. Along with this, it will also depend on how many vacancies are available. Duration of training is 49 weeks
