Job description
Define architecture, develop, maintain, and administer the product build environment to meet business needs, adhering to relevant build frameworks and recommendations.
Plan and analyze changes in the build environment to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Work collaboratively in a hybrid set-up, engaging with a multi-geography team to achieve shared goals
Must have skills
Linux: Experienced
Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Shell scripting: Experienced
Strong experience in shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
Python scripting: Experienced
Advanced knowledge of Python scripting for automation and tooling.
Jenkins: Experienced
Hands-on experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Git/Gerrit: Experienced
Advanced knowledge of working with Git/Gerrit for version control and code review processes.
Docker: Fundamental
Fundamental understanding of Docker for containerization.
Kubernetes: Fundamental
Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
IP network skills: Fundamental
Basic IP network skills for troubleshooting and configuration.
Added Advantages to have.
Prior experience in maintaining and troubleshooting software delivery staging release pipelines in a cloud-native development environment.
Prior experience of working in DevOps set-up

Troubleshoot and navigate in the build and test environment
Support developers via SED Helpdesk and Question channel
Self-driven, must be able to see what s important to act upon, cannot always expect tasks from someone else
High quality awareness, production environment must always work, changes must always be carefully verified/secured
Problem solver mindset
Collaborate with central functions/organizations like GIC, SAN etc.
Participate in environment transformation/migration assignments
Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements
B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)/B Tech. (Bachelor of Technologies)/M Tech preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or Masters in Computer Application (MCA)
Reading/Writing/Listening proficiency in English Language
Hands on Experience in Software Engineering Technologies
