Must-Have:

Great sense of aesthetics and ability to create captivating hooks!

Native to editing for short format (portrait)

YouTube Shorts, IG reels, etc

Must have hands on experience of video editing tools like Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas, etc.

Bonus points:

If you play a lot of games and understand different genres of gaming.

If you are a graphic designer and know tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva.

Your daily work will entail creating captivating YouTube Shorts while ensuring that –

The video is under 1 min

has good text overlays

has an intro and outro – focus on the hook (If we aren’t hooked, it is not getting published)

has a CTA (Google search, if you don’t know what a CTA is)

has sound effects to put emphasis on certain things

is smoothly edited

Builds a story from start to end

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for developing and executing social media marketing campaigns, creating social media content, and conducting digital marketing activities. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for communicating with clients, monitoring social media trends. and analyzing data to optimize campaigns.

Qualifications

Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing skills
Social Media Content Creation skills
Marketing and Communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful social media campaigns
Ability to analyze and optimize social media data
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other Canva software is a requirement
Must know video editing for reels or videos
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Must have:

A fast internet connection

A quiet place to work

Ability to work in the Vancouver, Canada time zone.
