- Sub-Inspector (SI):

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas.

- Driver / Mechanic:
- Operate and maintain railway vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles.

- Provide shoe repair and related services for railway personnel.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria for the post of Constable and Sub Inspector under the Railway Protection Force in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows.
Educational Qualification:
- SI – One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognised University.
- Constable – It is mandatory that an individual must have passed the Matriculation exam.
Age Limit:
- SI – The applicant’s should be at least 20 years and not exceed 25.
- Constable – One’s age must be below 18 and above 25 years.
There will be upper age relaxation for OBC, SC/ST and OBC for 10 years, respectively
RPF Selection Process 2024
