Siemens Overview:

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Communications team to create engaging content, monitor social media channels, and analyze performance metrics. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, has a passion for social media, and is up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

Siemens Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategy: Create a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.

Content creation: Design and produce high-quality, engaging content including text, images, videos, and infographics tailored to each social media platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

Community management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster positive engagement with our audience.

Campaign management

Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns and promotions, including paid advertising, to achieve specific marketing objectives.

Analytics and reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, clicks, and conversions. Prepare regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Stay updated: Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends. Implement new techniques to improve our social media presence.

Collaborate with teams: Work closely with the marketing, content, design, and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and align social media activities with broader marketing strategies. Social Media Specialist

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
