Maha Police Constable Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected based on a Physical Test, Written Exam and Skill Test. The physical test includes physical efficiency tests and physical standard tests. The department will take the physical test to assess the candidate’s physical fitness.
After conducting the physical test, the department will call the qualified candidates for the second phase of the selection process, a written exam. Maha Police Constable Exam Pattern
The Maharashtra Police Constable Exam Pattern consists of two levels, i.e. written exam and physical efficiency test/physical standards test. Detailed information about the exam pattern is given below.
Physical Standard Test’
The PET/PST involves three parameters, i.e. 1600 mts running or 800 mts running, 100 meter running and shot put. These parameters consist of 50 marks. Candidates who get at least 50% marks will be eligible for the next phase, the written exam.

Written Exam
Candidates who scored at least 50% marks in Physical Test, will be eligible to take the written exam. There will be 100 questions with a total of 100 marks included in this examination. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the paper. It will be conducted in Marathi Language at various examination centres. All questions will be multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer will carry one mark.
