Job description

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM):

• • Provide primary healthcare services to individuals, families, and communities, especially in rural and underserved areas.
  • Assist in maternal and child health services, including antenatal care, postnatal care, and immunization programs.
  • Conduct health education sessions on topics such as family planning, nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and basic treatments under the supervision of medical officers or registered nurses.
  • Conduct home visits to monitor the health status of pregnant women, newborns, and other vulnerable populations.
  • Participate in healthcare outreach programs, community mobilization efforts, and health awareness campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care, immunization coverage, and health education activities.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM):

• • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Assess patients’ health needs, develop nursing care plans, and implement interventions to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and provide wound care, injections, and other medical treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Assist in childbirth, including prenatal care, labor support, delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
  • Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria 2024

GNM Nursing Jobs

• Candidate must have passed the General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) course from an INC-recognized institute.
• Applicant must be registered as a Nurse or Midwife with the govt Nursing Council of India before applying.
• Must have 0-2 years of experience in 50 bedded hospital after completing the course.

BSc Nursing Jobs

• Candidates must have completed a B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing from a recognized board or University afflicted with INC.
• A majority of staff nurse recruitment does not require experience from a B.Sc. Nursing candidates.
