Top News: The merit list for triple IT admissions in Andhra Pradesh,

which students are eagerly waiting for, is going to be released. The final list of students selected for General Counseling will be released on 11th July (Thursday) campus-wise at Nujiveedu, Idupulapaya, Srikakulam and Ongolu under RGUKT. Dates of Certificate Verification?

The students selected in the merit list will have their certificate verification on 22nd and 23rd July at Nujiveedu campus. Certificate verification will be held at Idupulapaya campus on July 22 and 23 and at Ongolu campus on July 24 and 25. Certificate verification will be conducted on July 26 and 27 at Srikakulam campus.

Counseling in three stages?

Students who have passed class 10 apply for admissions in triple ITs. Counseling is done for them in three stages. Candidates will be called for counseling after applying online. Students have to download the call letter from the RGUKT website https://www.rgukt.in/ and attend the counseling on the scheduled dates. A total of 53,863 applications?

A total of 53,863 applications were received this year. Among those who applied, 34,154 students were from government schools and 19,671 students were from private schools. Out of this, 23,006 boys and 30,857 girls have applied. Among them, 50,132 students from Andhra Pradesh applied, while 3,693 students from Telangana applied. It is remarkable that 38 students from other states have applied except for two Telugu states.

1,000 seats in each triple IT.. Total 4,400 seats?

These four triple ITs have a total of four thousand seats with 1,000 seats per triple IT. There are another 400 seats under EWS quota. A total of 4,400 seats are available in four triple ITs. But 53,863 students applied for those seats. It means that about 13 people are contesting for each seat. Breaking News

How is the selection process?

The students who have applied will be given admission on the merit system based on the marks obtained in class 10th. These seats are allotted to AP and Telangana students under open merit. The process involves allotment of seats on the basis of SC, ST and OBC reservations along with marks obtained in class 10th. Also 100 seats will be allotted to economically backward social classes. 85 percent seats will be allotted to students of Andhra Pradesh state. Telangana students can compete for the remaining 15 percent seats along with the state. These seats are allotted to students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh under open merit.
