Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar travels to Ayodhya to attend the opening ceremony of the Ram Mandir.

Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been to Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s “Pran Pratishtha” event. Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal, former cricketers Anil Kumble and Venkatesh Prasad, and Indian Olympic Association president PT Usha are among the other prominent athletes present at the location. Captains of the World Cup, MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev; Indian cricket legends, Sourav Ganguly and Virendra Sehwag; and Indian coach, Rahul Dravid.
The historic event will also be attend by current Indian cricket players Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravichandran Ashwin. The players were in Hyderabad preparing for the forthcoming five-match Test series against England, which begins on January 25. The skipper was seen participating in his first training session on Sunday after the Indian squad landed in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Mithali Raj, the former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, was also present at the opening ceremony. “I feel what one feels when they are at a very religious place,” the woman remarked.I believe it is a calling to be here on this significant event, since we have all wanted this for a very long time. Weightlifter Karnam Malleswari, football player Kalyan Chaube, long-distance runner Kavita Raut Tungar, paralympic javelin thrower Devendra Jhanjadia, and women’s shuttlers Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu, along with their coach Pullela Gopichand, are among the other athletes on the list.
