Staff Selection Commission SSC has released jobs for 8326 posts. 10th pass candidates can apply for these recruitments. Candidates between 18 to 27 years can apply for these posts. For these recruitments, candidates will have to pass the written examination. Apart from this, they will also have to give physical efficiency test. The salary will be Rs 18 to 22 thousand per month. Overview of SSC

SSC Exams:

• Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL): For various Group B and Group C posts.
• Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL): For Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants.
• Junior Engineer (JE) Examination: For recruitment of Junior Engineers in various branches of engineering.
• General Duty (GD) Constable Examination: For recruitment in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.
• Stenographer Grade C & D Examination: For recruitment of Stenographers in various ministries/departments.
• Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination (MTS): For various Group C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts.
• Other Exams: Including SSC Scientific Assistant, SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator), SSC CPO (Central Police Organization) etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Varies by the post; for example, CGL requires a Bachelor’s degree, CHSL requires a 12th pass, and JE requires a diploma/degree in engineering.

Age Limit:

• Generally between 18–32 years, with age relaxations for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC, etc.).

Examination Pattern

Tier System:

• Tier 4. Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test/Document Verification.

Mode of Examination:

• Most exams are conducted online (computer-based tests), except for certain stages like the descriptive paper in Tier III.

Syllabus and Preparation

General Syllabus Includes:

• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Comprehension

Post-Specific Syllabus:

• For technical posts like JE, the syllabus includes engineering-specific subjects.
• For roles like Stenographer, there is an additional skill test for stenography.

Admit Card and Examination

Admit Card:

• Issued online and must be downloaded from the SSC website.
• Contains details about the examination center, date, and time.

Examination:

Results and Selection
